Matt Bomer Biography

Matt Bomer is an actor, producer, director and singer, most famously known for his roles in "Magic Mike" and "White Collar".

After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama, Bomer began his professional acting career when cast in a small role, as Ian Kipling, on "All My Children". From 2001 to 2003, he portrayed the role of Ben Reade on another daytime television soap opera, "Guiding Light".

Further success in TV followed, most notably when he was cast in "White Collar", a TV series which chronicled a fictional criminal mastermind. Bomer later appeared in productions such as "In Time", "The Nice Guys", "Magnificent Seven", and "Walking Out". In 2015, he won a Golden Globe Award and received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for the drama television film "The Normal Heart".

Bomer held a recurring role in the NBC television series "Chuck" as Bryce Larkin, and in 2012 appeared in the critically acclaimed "Magic Mike" film. He later joined the cast of the hit horror anthology series "American Horror Story", and reprised his role in the "Magic Mike" franchise in "Magic Mike: XXL".

In 2018, Bomer appeared in a guest starring role on "Will & Grace", as well as the DC Universe superhero franchise in "Negative Man". The following year he announced his involvement in season three of "The Sinner".
