Kim Coles is perhaps most recognized for her distinctive comedic characters and vibrant humor. She initiated her entertainment career as a finalist in the “Big Beautiful Woman” pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This led her to start plus-size modeling and subsequently perform as a stand-up comedian, giving rise to a flourishing career in the industry.
Coles is widely known for her role as Synclaire in FOX’s pivotal comedy series, "Living Single." Her presence has also been felt in other shows such as "In Living Color," "One on One," "Ten Items or Less," "Frasier," HBO’s "Six Feet Under," "Baby Daddy," and "Home Economics." She was the co-host of the nationally syndicated daytime talk show "In the Loop with IVillage" and has been a guest co-host for various shows, including "The View," "Good Day Live," "Sister Circle," and "The Talk."
