Deborah DiSanzo is president of Best Buy Health for Best Buy Co. Inc. In this role, she is responsible for the company’s health strategy, connecting people with technology to care for their health at home.
DiSanzo oversees Best Buy Health’s three focal areas of consumer health, active aging, and virtual care. She also leads the incubation, strategy and corporate development teams focused on scaling health initiatives at Best Buy.
DiSanzo is an innovative, strategic leader with more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of health care and technology. IBM Watson Health chief Deborah DiSanzo steps down from post
DiSanzo is moving to the strategy team for IBM Cognitive Solutions, which encompasses the company’s larger artificial intelligence and blockchain efforts, an IBM spokesperson told FierceMedTech. Meanwhile, Big Blue’s senior VP of cognitive solutions and IBM Research, John Kelly—who currently oversees the Watson program and its various efforts in fields including healthcare, financial services, education and the internet of things—will cover the vacancy going forward.
