On September 10, 2020, our client in the utilities sector hosted a virtual event with Rachel Tobac as their guest speaker. The event was hosted on Microsoft Teams and is their most viewed event to date.
Client Overview
Our client is one of the nation’s largest electric utility companies, committed to keeping electricity safe, reliable, affordable, and clean today and in the future. They invite one speaker per quarter to address cyber-related issues, trends, and the latest tactics.
The client’s cybersecurity awareness team strives to educate and inform 25,000+ staff members about the dangers of phishing, social engineering, and sharing on social media.
“AAE was very helpful in coordinating schedules between Rachel and SCE and was always responsive to email communications. I would use AAE again when sourcing speakers.”
The Challenge
The client’s cybersecurity awareness team initially had Rachel Tobac scheduled for an in-person presentation, but due to the pandemic, they had to unexpectedly pivot to a virtual session.
AAE’s Approach
Our clients are very busy planning all aspects of their event, which is why we want to make booking a keynote speaker as seamless as possible.
AAE helped to coordinate schedules between the speaker and the client. We also organized a practice and preparation session with the talent and AAE’s logistics team on the client’s chosen virtual platform, Microsoft Teams.
The Results
Our client rated their virtual event 5/5 for meeting their expectations.
